Technology Upgrades

For the 2026 model year, all Honda CR-V trim levels now come with a 9-inch touchscreen. The previous model year only offered the 9-inch touchscreen on the top three trim levels. This larger touchscreen is the perfect complement to wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™, now standard on all models, too. The wireless versions of Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are only standard on the top three trim levels in the 2025 model year lineup.

Speaking of wireless, the latest Honda CR-V also offers a standard wireless phone charger on all trim levels, which, again, is only offered on the three highest trim levels for the 2025 model year. For 2026, Wi-Fi hotspot capability is available for all hybrid CR-V models. The previous model year only offers Wi-Fi hotspot capability on the top trim level. For 2026, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster comes in the top four trims as well. That’s one tech-savvy compact crossover SUV!

Advanced Powertrain Options

Looking for a small SUV that’s big on fuel efficiency? This is it. The 2026 CR-V lineup lets you choose between a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a hybrid powertrain. If you choose the turbocharged engine, you can enjoy 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. With this engine, you get an EPA-estimated 28/33/30 MPG (city/highway/combined)* with 2WD models and an EPA-estimated 27/31/29 MPG (city/highway/combined)* with AWD models.

For those seeking top fuel efficiency, the hybrid powertrain boasts an EPA-estimated 43/36/40 MPG (city/highway/combined)* with 2WD models and an EPA-estimated 40/34/37 MPG (city/highway/combined)* with AWD models — except for the TrailSport Hybrid trim, which produces 38/33/35 MPG (city/highway/combined).* CR-V hybrid models produce 145 horsepower, with 204 total system horsepower, and 138 pound-feet of torque.

Non-hybrid 2026 Honda CR-V models give you three dynamic drive modes to choose from: Normal, Econ, and Snow. Hybrid 2026 Honda CR-V models give you four dynamic drive modes, Sport, Normal, Econ, and Snow, but the top trim level (Sport Touring Hybrid) gives you an additional mode: Individual.

2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport Hybrid

The 2026 model year welcomes the TrailSport Hybrid trim to the CR-V lineup, giving you a total of seven trims to choose from. As the first-ever CR-V TrailSport Hybrid, this rugged trim level is ready for off-roading, featuring all-terrain tires paired with 18-inch Shark Gray wheels. The TrailSport Hybrid is prepared for various challenges, thanks to the standard Real-Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™.

Subtle exterior details like a silver skid garnish on the front, piano black rear spoiler, and black door handles and window surrounds give the TrailSport Hybrid its own personality. For the finishing touch, orange TrailSport badges are placed on the grille and tailgate.

Inside, you’ll find the TrailSport logo on the front seat headrests and on the all-season rubber floor mats. We love that the TrailSport Hybrid comes with amber ambient lighting, adding special accents throughout the cabin.
